The SEC Chairman announced adjustments to Crypto Assets regulatory policies and will formulate new guidelines.

According to Gate.io News bot, TheBlock reported that SEC Chairman Paul Atkins announced a regulatory policy adjustment plan at the fourth cryptocurrency working group roundtable meeting. The SEC plans to formulate new guidelines regarding crypto assets issuance and custody, regulating through rule-making and exemption mechanisms. Under certain conditions, funds and advisors are allowed to engage in self-custody. Atkins also mentioned that the SEC is studying conditional exemptions for registered or unregistered entities to accommodate innovative products.
