The pipeline belongs to Gazprom and is responsible for transporting gas from Turkmenistan through Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan to Russia. It is reported that after receiving reports of the explosion, Russian emergency services rushed to the scene. Local residents stated that repair teams have also arrived for emergency repairs.
