Abstract generation in progress

Following the successful deployment of the Pectra upgrade, Ethereum core developers have turned their attention to the next major upgrade, "Fusaka", which is scheduled to go live by the end of 2025. Proposals involving PeerDAS have been identified to reduce operational costs for Layer 2 scaling solutions and validators. Peer-to-Peer Data Availability Sampling (PeerDAS) is a data availability sampling mechanism that allows nodes to verify the availability of complete data without having to download it, thereby improving network efficiency and reducing resource consumption. This mechanism is expected to further optimize Ethereum's scaling capacity and enhance the scalability and decentralization of the network. It is reported that the specifics of the Fusaka upgrade are still being discussed, but the developers have agreed on the introduction of PeerDAS. (CoinDesk)
