On January 30th, Golden Data reported that, according to US media, a copy of a memorandum from the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) revoked the Trump administration's decision to freeze federal funding, causing widespread confusion and unease in the US political arena. The new memorandum, released by the OMB on Wednesday, contains only two sentences and cancels the original memorandum issued by the office two days ago. 'If you have any questions about implementing the President's executive orders, please contact the general counsel of your agency,' the new memorandum stated. The Trump administration's freeze on federal funding has caused uncertainty for states, schools, and organizations that rely on tens of trillions of dollars in government funding, and has forced the White House to hastily explain which projects will be affected by the suspension of funding and which will not.
