The Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission has issued additional guidelines on initial public offering subscriptions and financing services.

On March 20, Jinshi Data reported that the Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission today issued a circular providing additional guidance to licensed corporations regarding subscription and financing services for initial public offerings, to enhance their risk management practices and protect investors from excessive financial risks. Dr. Yip Chi-hang, Executive Director of the Intermediaries Division of the SFC, stated: "We must ensure that licensed corporations and investors can effectively manage their risks when participating in IPO subscription activities." He continued: "The purpose of this circular is to provide clear guidance on the expected conduct of the SFC, thereby promoting the continued stable rise of the local capital market."
