Moca Chain is supported by Animoca to launch a decentralized digital identification.

The blockchain development company Moca Foundation has launched Moca Chain, a Layer-1 blockchain focused on privacy protection in identity and data verification. Moca Chain supports the development of identity protocols that allow individuals and devices to control verification information without the need for centralized service providers. The testnet is expected to launch in Q3 2025, with the mainnet in Q4.

The system will use MOCA tokens for transaction fees and other services. Moca Chain is also compatible with the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM), enhancing interoperability. Yat Siu, co-founder of Animoca Brands, stated that Moca Chain provides decentralized data ownership for users, minimizing risks from centralized failure points. The AIR Kit software development kit has been integrated into many products, reaching over 700 million users.
