Vitalik pointed out that the significant value of personal nodes lies not only in on-chain verification but also in the privacy and censorship resistance needs as a local RPC for reading chain data. His suggestions include: accelerating the comprehensive implementation of EIP-4444, building decentralized historical data storage, adjusting the Gas mechanism to increase the cost of new state storage, and proposing a new model of "partial stateless nodes" that allows users to save key states on demand, balancing storage efficiency and local privacy.
